Wale is a seasoned Research Consultant with vast experience spanning market, health, social and political research. He has also worked extensively on Monitoring and Evaluation projects as well as database management. Wale worked as a Research Executive/Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with TNS RMS Nigeria, (an affiliate of TNS Global Research, Westgate London; number 1 consumer research agency in the world).
Wale had his First Degree in Microbiology before proceeding into Public Health for Masters Degree. He has concluded the Basic Course for Human Subject Research organized by the Collaborative Institutional Training Institute of the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Baltimore, USA).
As a Market researcher, Wale has worked on a number of accounts ranging from FMCG, Media group, Brand tracker, U & A Surveys, Product tests, Concept test, Consumer segmentation, Brand Health studies and Opinion polls for governments. Some clients’ accounts he handled include; Arla foods, Flour Mills, Golden Penny, Airtel etc. His experience with indigenous and foreign clients covers quantitative and qualitative research.
As a Social & Political researcher, Wale managed the pre and post evaluation studies for the Oshodi clean-up, Nation-wide predictive polls for Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) towards the 2011 election, Performance Evaluation Monitor for the Lagos State Government, Housing Needs Evaluation Survey for the LASG, election monitoring surveys for LGAs etc Wale was the Lead Consultant on a number of GEMS4 (Growth Empowerment in States) projects for Department for International Development (DFID) and Coffey International Development, UK.
Social & Health profile; Wale implemented the ‘APADOC’ Adolescent Health project for the World Health Organisation (with cross country experiences) between 2003 and 2006, he was involved in policy making with Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) between 2006 and 2007, being a member of the National Adolescent Reproductive Health Working Group (NARHWG). In 2007, Wale trained the Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the FMOH on “Using SPSS for Data Analysis and Database”, he was the coordinating data analyst for ‘Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) Impact on Knowledge’, a project for Partnership for Transforming Health Systems 2 (PATHS 2) and Mannion Daniels Limited, UK.
Few among his M & E projects; Tourism Potential Evaluation for the Cross River State Government, Bednet Campaign Evaluation Surveys for Support to National Malaria Program (SuNMaP) and Malaria Consortium in Kano, Anambra, Sokoto, Niger and Ogun State.
Wale has concluded the Basic Course for Human Subject Research organized by the Collaborative Institutional Training Institute of the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Baltimore, USA). He also holds a Certificate of Program Completion in Principles of Marketing Research from the University of Georgia, USA. He had his First Degree in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University, before proceeding into Public Health at Masters Level.
He has been involved in research, database management as well as monitoring and evaluation for several years and has worked on numerous projects for individuals, institutions and agencies.
