Tosin was trained as a medical doctor from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun state Nigeria. He completed his Housemanship at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria, and proceeded to Havard School of Public Health in the United States of America for an MPH in Health Policy and Management.

He was the African Regional Assistant on Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS for the International Federation of Medical Students Associations and the Co-Editor the African Youth Best Practices Handbook.

He has received awards for his work on various notable public health initiatives.
Tosin’s Public health works and experience have highly targeted building health systems that work for Africa through sound evidence-based public health research.

Recently, his article on reformng health insurance in Nigeria was featured in an anthology published by the Global Forum for Health Research/The Lancet.
